Synopsis

When a traveler named Lockwood is caught in the snow and has to stay at the estate of Wuthering Heights, the housekeeper Ellen sits down to tell him the story of the old house. She tells him of Heathcliff and Catherine and the troubled relationship they would have: she born into wealth and he a poor stable boy with no expectations for acceptance in society.
