Synopsis

Giovanni is a successful psychoanalyst whose loving family provides a steadfast foundation that allows him to tolerate the trivial details of his patients’ lives. This foundation is rocked to the core when his son Andrea dies in a scuba diving accident. Giovanni’s wife is inconsolable; his daughter becomes anti-social. In the midst of this turmoil, the revealing of a secret provides healing they never anticipated.
