Synopsis
During Pinochet’s dictatorial reign of Chile in the early 1970s, journalist Irene—enjoying the romantic favors of Army officer Camillo—turns a blind eye to the political turmoil around her but changes her attitude when she falls in love with charismatic anarchist Francisco. As a sympathizer with the underground resistance movement, Francisco opens Irene’s eyes and heart to the atrocities being committed by the state.
