Synopsis
Sam Dodsworth's materialistic wife is obsessed with the notion that he is growing old, so she convinces him to liquidate everything and move them to Europe. Even there, though, she finds Sam unadventurous and boring, eventually leaving him for another man. While in Italy, Sam reconnects with Edith, a lovely widow he met while sailing, and is surprised by how deeply he cares for her.
